EXPLORE ONLINE
Gain Confidence in Communicating in English
EXPLORE Online is a 5-week integrated skills program for domestic and international students with elementary to advanced levels of English. This online program provides the same curriculum as our on-campus program in a format that is convenient for those who choose to study virtually. Lessons incorporate all skills with a focus on speaking fluency and accuracy. Participants learn in an inclusive environment which situates language learning and practice within the context of UBC’s vision of “inspiring people, ideas, and actions for a better world.” Through facilitated discussions and collaborative group work, learners have opportunities to explore a range of current topics relevant to people around the globe.
This full-time program consists of predominantly synchronous (instructor-led) lessons. These are occasionally supported by engaging and flexible asynchronous activities which allow students to work at their own pace.
Through EXPLORE ONLINE, you can:
- Improve speaking and listening skills
- Enhance fluency, accuracy and pronunciation
- Build vocabulary and grammar
