How to Apply
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Check your eligibility.
We accept students over 18 years old for on-campus programs and over 16 years old for online programs.
Students must have at least Upper Beginner level of English knowledge.
Students must meet requirements to study in Canada.
2. Determine if you need a Visa or Study Permit.
Figuring out how long that process may take will also be helpful.
3. Read the ELI Policies
Read and acknowledge the ELI Policies and information on Mandatory Medical Insurance.
4. Fill Out & Submit the ELI Application Form
Once submitted, you will get a confirmation email as well as an email with payment instructions.
I’ve submitted my application, now what?
- We will email you with further instructions. Once we have processed your payment, you will receive registration documents and a pre-departure handbook. If you require a visa/study permit, you can start your application at this point.
- If you are applying for a visa/study permit to come to Canada, you must submit the letter of acceptance, a valid passport and proof that you have sufficient funds for your stay in Canada to the Canadian Visa office in your area. A medical exam is required in some countries. The Visa office will issue your visa/study permit or give you an introduction letter, which you must show to the immigration officer when you arrive at Vancouver International Airport.
- Apply for Student Housing if you want Homestay. Once you submit the form, you will receive an email with payment instructions. Space can fill up quickly, so apply early to avoid disappointment.
